Goos are cute. The story has it that long ago there was an ancient race of gelatinous cubes. It was more ancient that the ancient terror beasts and during one of the invasions by Skygods a voice echoed "Pa, make a cute kitty cubey for me!". The power of this spell shattered the ground and leveled the mountain, burying all of the cubes underneath. A few years after this event, the first goo seeped through the slits between rocks and while it was neither a "cubey" nor a "kitty" it was very, very adorable.
