:maria:

Young, but full of interest for magic, Maria is the only Mortal Doomvoid Witch within Drachell. When she was younger, living in Crovinale, she was caught by some townsfolk doing her magic. She accidentally sent a Doomvoid Spider after one of them, mortally wounding one of said townsfolk. After that day, the townsfolk banded together and cast her own, calling her a heretic and other sorts of nasty things. She fled to the Web Wood Forest and continue developing her magics. However, the townsfolk did not stop there. They ventured into the forest after her and attempted to kill her out of fear that she would release a monster more powerful than a spider. She, unknowingly, released the Broodmother, mother of a large hive of Doomvoid Spiders she was stealing from. The Broodmother took it upon herself to slay all of the townsfolk. Maria was not aware that this had happened. After regaining consciousness from the powerful, yet accidental summoning, Maria vowed Vengeance and looked for a way to siphon a Plague she had read about out of the Doomvoid Realm and into Crovinale. She succeeded.
